Synchronization in details…
DAO4Sync contains a Synchronization Engine which will keep your data within your DAO4Sync Drive and your Google Drive, Amazon S3, Dropbox or WebDAV Cloud Storage in balance. You can influence how the Synchronization Engine will work, synchronizing every file/folder operation (e.g. create, delete, rename, update etc.) automatically on remote side or only files selected by your choice.
Example: Synchronizing only documents by selection
If you are faced with having a huge amount of documents, files, images within your Cloud Storage, you can only synchronize the documents you want to be synchronized. Just select the corresponding document to be synchronized or not.
Following picture is showing a folder view with four images not being synchronized with your Cloud Storage (identified by the red cross on the left hand side).
You can pinpoint the images you want to be automatically synchronized with selecting the menu item Work with Activate Synchronization.
Auto Sync - Synchronization Reports
The DAO4Sync Drive Synchronization Engine will do automatically synchronize your local and remote documents within a configurable time frame.
In the shown synchronization report most of the documents are in synchronized state (in SYNC), respectively the document ‘issues.txt’ has been copied to the local DAO4Sync Drive, because the content within the Cloud Storage, like Google Drive, Amazon S3, Dropbox, was newer.
